Description

The Faculty Summer Studio Residency program provides up to 5 faculty members with on-campus studio space. The studio space is available for the summer between academic semesters accounting for end of semester cleanout, and pre-semester studio prep. Move in: May 22-24, Vacate by August 3rd. The program facilitates the development of a new project or a new body of work, centered around creative studio practice, contributing to the national and international profile of the College, while at the same time enriching and expanding the engagement of the thriving, creative MCAD community.

This program offers physical on-campus studio space, but does not include any additional support from, or automatic access to, MCAD staff or facilities such as the 3D Shop, Media Center, Print Shop, Paper Studio, etc. This does not preclude faculty from making summer proposals to use facilities through the normal summer access policies – see each facilities intranet page for more details on summer access.
